Chuck. Such a great show in its prime. The last season was liked watching Cthulhu raise up and raven and slay with the faithful.

Only not as entertaining.

both Miami related but,

new school: Dexter

old school: Miami Vice

Miami Vice was the first TV Show I can remember watching as a kid for some reason. I watched a lot of the reruns on USA later on after it died.

after Season 2, it spiked hard.

Season 3 was okay but after they killed off Zito and then the weird arse UFO episode in season 4, that show went full ruhtard.

Dexter felt like an old fashioned troll job towards the last few seasons. I didn't hate everything about it but I found myself laughing with hands in the air saying WTF? repeatedly.

edit: I got the Miami Vice box set as a christmas gift a few years ago and there is no denying it started to turn midway through Season 3.

The Office... It pains me to even write that cause I REALLY loved that show. But the last two seasons I felt were pretty bad.

Falling Skies is a great premise, but it has never delivered. I hate most of the characters and hate most of the storylines. I will definitely be watching when the new season starts. I think I am pulling for the Espheni at this point. The only hope for a happy ending is the youngest kid Matt dying a horrible death.

Here's a crazy secret I'm gonna tell this board.....

I actually enjoy falling skies.

True Blood was campy and fun for the first couple of seasons. Plus we got some nice gratuitous nude scenes. It was like a chore for me the last 3 seasons, but I kept watching. The one hope for making it worthwhile was getting to see Tara get killed. Those assholes basically killed her offscreen. frick you True Blood. frick you.

I feel the same way. Your posts in the finale thread were money like this one....

quote:

That was a great finale. It stayed true to the theme of the show, which is to be the worst fricking show on TV. I think they were trying to end it as badly as possible. The wedding really made that happen. Then, the death scene with Bill came along and put it out of reach for any other show to accomplish anything worse.

I was crying when Bill died. Not because it was sad. It was one of the funniest things I have seen in a while.

The only good part was Eric and Pam. Which has been the only good part of this shitfest for the last few seasons.

Praise Billith that this thing is over.

Definitely How I Met Your Mother and Entourage. Great examples.

I dunno if I finished Heroes or not, but it definitely nosedived hard.

You and me both. The acting is usually pretty terrible, but I love it.

I forgot Under the Dome. That might be the worst series that I will finish. The second season was one of the worst things I have ever watched. I can't wait for the new season to start.

Yep.

This show is a disappointment and it's not just because of poor writing but the budget is just not big enough for a show with this premise. But I'm still looking forward to the last season and what the aftermath of the war will be and how humanity will rebuild.

Another show that I've picked up is the last ship, it's highly entertaining and almost the same premise as falling skies but its more human, it's like a present day realistic star trek with a navy destroyer as the enterprise and they're not exploring but rather sailing to save humanity.
