Series that got terrible, yet you still watched until the end.

I have watched a few series that started out pretty good, but got worse and almost unwatchable as the seasons went on. I absolutely hated the show by the end, but I just couldn't quit watching,
Falling Skies is a great premise, but it has never delivered. I hate most of the characters and hate most of the storylines. I will definitely be watching when the new season starts. I think I am pulling for the Espheni at this point. The only hope for a happy ending is the youngest kid Matt dying a horrible death.
True Blood was campy and fun for the first couple of seasons. Plus we got some nice gratuitous nude scenes. It was like a chore for me the last 3 seasons, but I kept watching. The one hope for making it worthwhile was getting to see Tara get killed. Those assholes basically killed her offscreen. frick you True Blood. frick you.

There is no more glaring example of what the OP's talking about that I could imagine either.
Amazingly enough, that last season seemed a good bit better than the one's that had preceded it.

Dexter is probably another good example. It went to shite after the Trinity Killer season.

How could I forget SOA? I would say that Sutter was mailing it in the last few seasons, but that a-hole thought he was Shakespeare. That makes it much worse.
