Happy Madison produced the Paul Blart movies and their box office #'s are sickening.

The movie had some pretty funny moments.

And Sandler was actually kind of low key in it. Now whether that was because he consciously recognized his act was getting old or because he was just phoning it in, I don't know.

But the premise was a good one and that carried the movie to an extent. And the supporting cast were pretty good. And some of the jokes really were funny.

When he falls outside in the rain yelling for his Son...the feels hit me every damn time.

I liked Just Go With It too. I think that is the last Sandler movie I enjoyed. I was actually hoping Pixels would be decent, I will wait till Redbox though.

Pixels ain't half bad.

I would never care to see jack n jill and I don't care for grown ups.. But pixels was alright and that's my boy was ok for one watch

I really think most people hating on Pixels didn't even see it. It's certainly not great but it's alright.

RedLetterMedia nailed it with their Jack and Jill review. They did not have much good to say about Pixels either. I don't get why people still pay to watch this clowns' movies.

Blended was better than everything else he's put out the last 6-7 years.

Worst product placement belongs to Chuck with Subway. I love the show so much, but there were at least a few instances each season that were pretty much a Subway commercial.

But I have seen someone on here pretty much say they only did this because Subway basically kept the show afloat, so I guess that makes it better.

No, those were always tongue-in-cheek. It was funny because it was so brazen. Kind of like Britta's love interest with Subway and their torrid affair with Honda on "Community".

If "Chuck's" use of Subway is bad, then so is "Wayne's World" for the product placement scene that kills me every time.

I think that a lot of critics went in looking for clever ways to hate on the film. No critic is getting press for liking the movie or saying that it's okay.

I've always scratched my head at how that goofy dunce from Remote Control whose hint at future greatness was to say "Da Studboy!" with a quasi speech impediment... somehow turned into a mega movie star buzzillionaire.

I still can't make that one add up.

I guess the Netflix releases will be the end of Happy Madison, because they are gonna be really bad!

Joe Dirt 2 ended up on Crackle and was horrible.
Paul Blart Mall Cop 2 was a disaster and it takes a lot to make Kevin James look bad
Pixels got slammed

The man gave us Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore and Big Daddy.

Masterpieces...they can't all be gold can they?

I just don't watch his stuff anymore unless I hear that it is decent.

Your irrational, RLM-fed hatred of all things Sandler is one of the most entertaining things to me on this site.
