I've always been a big WW2 fan, I'd go with
Patton
Midway
Guns of Navarone (we had the toy set with the mountain and guns, when I was a kid)

Twelve O’clock High is one of my all time favorites.

Best war movie of all time.

Very little action but shows the stress, anxiety, and pressure the men experience, and how combat eats away at their psyche.

It’s also a case study in good leadership.

The remarkably accurate documentary Navy SEALs starring Charlie Sheen.

On the real though…13 Hours hasn’t been mentioned.

Just adding some I haven’t seen mentioned-

Sgt York
Sahara (the Bogart, though Belushi is not as bad as you’d think)
They were expendable
In Harms Way
Bataan
Back to Bataan
Darby’s Rangers
The Devils Brigade
Attack!
Battle of the Bulge
Battleground
Merrill's Marauders
Battle Cry
Objective Burma

….

Honestly, there are a lot of very good movies out there, just depends on your taste.

Hail, the original Midway is my all time favorite war movie.

Watch Generation War the German film about five friends during WW2. It is in my top 10 war movies.

An excellent and these days largely unknown war film is Objective Burma with Errol Flynn, it was made during the war.

Other war favorites of mine: Apocalypse Now, Black Hawk Down, Downfall, Come and See, The Caine Mutiny, Unknown Soldier, To Hell and Back, Paths of Glory

Hot Shots
Hot Shots Part Deux

Ramada Thompson: You were discharged from the service 18 months ago for willful insubordination. You disobeyed a direct order and lost a $13 million fighter in the process.

Lt. Topper Harley: Yes, I did. But I'm paying it off at ten bucks a week. And I wouldn't be doing that if I'd gotten that extra collision coverage.”

My top 3 have been listed but I’d add The Forgotten Battle to your list. It’s very good. Netflix.
