Just didn't get it the first time.

Napoleon Dynamite was another. I liked it a lot the first time, but picked up on all of the subtle nuances the second time.

I enjoyed that movie most the first time I watched it. Every time since, I've known the secret going in.

Napoleon Dynamite.

I thought it was so damn pointless when I watched it the first time. Even turned it off halfway through.

Watched it a couple of days later when some friends put it on and completely lost my shite. I mean I was in tears over some of that shite. I have no idea why it hit me all of a sudden, but it succeeded.

The Other Guys and The Big Lewbowski. Another is Napoleon Dynamite. The first time I watched it, I was pretty sure I had just wasted an hour and a half of my life. Upon another viewing it got better.

I could watch it 100 more times and have no idea what Brad Pitt said at any point in the movie. But I think that was the point.

I didn't like Natural Born Killers the first (sober) time. Now I appreciate it for what it is.

Anchorman. I was a kid when I watched it the first time. I fricking hated it. I avoided watching it like gay porn after that, but I was forced to watch it eventually. And I loved it!

Children of Men.

First time I saw it I thought it was just O.K. I hated the ending. The 2nd time I saw it I was blown away. Great Movie.
