Looking back on it, I have no damn clue how Hellfire wasn't traumatizing or disturbing to me as a kid, or that my parents never said anything about it. Disnsy is way too PC nowadays to have a song like it in a film.

Homeward Bound when Shadow gets stuck in the pit. I'm 23 years old now and I can't bring myself to watch that scene

Weird thing is I loved them as a kid, it wasn't until I got older that I realized how depressing some of it was

I can get enjoy a depressing movie if it has a happy ending like the Homeward Bound movies do. Not movies like where the Red Fern Grows or Old Yeller though. Those are just gut wrenching.

Bambi is an obvious one, but here's one I haven't seen here yet. From Toy Story 2: When She Loved Me

There's no earthly way of knowing
Which direction we are going.
There's no knowing where we're rowing
Or which way the river's flowing.
Is it raining?
Is it snowing?
Is a hurricane a blowing?
Not a speck of light is showing
so the danger must be growing.
Are the fires of hell a glowing?
Is the grisly reaper mowing?
Yes! The danger must be growing
For the rowers keep on rowing. And they're certainly not showing
any signs that they are slowing!

Damn I hated that scene

"The Secret of NIHM" is the only correct answer. Even as an adult I can't believe that movie is rated G.

"Little Nemo" is pretty fricked up too

Great call. Is Up rated G? If so, I'll go with the opening montage
