I haven't seen and probably never will see Precious but just what I've heard about the story leads me to believe it's probably one of the most depressing and disgusting movies of all time.
Start a thread about movies you have never seen then.
'Precious' is the story of a a girl who grows up in most unfortunate circumstances. I'd rather watch 'Precious' again over 'Date Night' (or similar).

I'm sure it was already mentioned...but Requiem for a Dream is one of the most depressing films I've ever seen. Also one of the my favorites. Great film.

I'm totally starting my own thread. It's gonna be super awesome. There's gonna be hookers and blackjack and you won't be invited.

I'm sorry!
I love hookers and blackjack!
I'm not good at blackjack. You'll want me there to steal my $.
I am pretty good at hookers, though.

I'll consider it. But if any of the hookers look like Precious....
....then I call dibs.

Dear Zachary. Just outright upsetting and causes several different emotions, but overwhelming heartbreaking and depressing.

Requiem is the only movie I have seen where i just feel dirty and depressed afterwords.
It actually makes me feel happy after because my life isn't like that. But the movie is fricking depressing

Marley and Me......
Didn't watch it cause wife previewed it and said "no way". We just had to put down our 13 yr old pup and the wife said they could have named the movie "Jersey and Me" it was so similar to our story.
