That was more in the middle, in the creepy place, where he disappeared for a few minutes to uh......resupply

Yea. I thought that was kind of cool. I just wish we could have seen that actually happen.

They all have their own identifying features that make them unique, except for Max. Maybe that was Miller's intention. Maybe he wanted to make everyone else interesting around Max,
i think it was done on purpose. Every major character has their ideology, religion, or set beliefs except Max. He doesn't believe in anything. His only motive is to do whatever it takes to survive.

Nihilism would be a good word to describe Max. While every other character has some ideology that defined them

That makes sense.

Yea, the way I saw it was that they really wanted to portray how absolutely broken he was. There were only two things that motivated him, surviving and escaping his past. That's why he was almost a robot early on. Once he finally came to grips with who he was and was ready to be redeemed, he came back to life.

t looked like there was a lot of voice over with his character and he felt very dull to me. I didn't expect him to do as well as Mel Gibson, but I don't know, I was really just underwhelmed with his performance.

We will just have to agree to disagree

Because honestly, I loved his performance. He wasn't overbearing and he didn't seem like the lead character in this one which was different. It's his franchise, but this one seemed to be more about Furiosa.

Guitar guy was a boss.

I just loved that most of the movie, even during the down parts, you could vaguely hear the guitar blaring in the background as the chase is still going on technically. Just a nice touch that probably goes unnoticed by most.

Unbelievably great. Perhaps the best action movie I have ever seen in my life. I'm a big fan of the Road Warrior, and this was like the Road Warrior times a million. There's barely a moment of the film that ever lets up, and even those few moments are pretty amazing to watch.

This is probably the best action movie I've ever seen. I definitely get what people were saying by wanting more "down" parts to develop story, but I feel like the movie expects you to know at least some of Max's backstory coming in. The whole universe Miller create's is just amazing, and it was one of the few movies in which I did not feel bored at least once throughout the whole thing, which is a huge compliment and very rare considering my personality

I'd give it a 10.

Yeah. I went in blind. Really regretted it. Because I was scrambling to figure out what was going on.

Awesome action though. I seriously can't fathom how they filmed those scenes.

Holy mother of god. Please go see this in the biggest baddest Imax you have. It was hours long and there were only about 10 minutes the whole movie where I wasn't holding on to my seat. It is everything Imax and big sound/sight cinema is made for. None of that shifty shaky camera junk and no obvious CGI overloa1d. Just pure, adrenaline pumping, testosterone throttled film. It's worth every penny. It won't win an Oscar but you'll watch it every time it comes on TV til you die. Plot? Not bad, but serviceable. Acting? Good enough. Action? I've been in a weird daze since I walked out an hour ago. Nuts.
