Batman never really had an explanation for his fighting prowess until Iron Fist came out and Marvel started giving the finger to the Comics Code.

After that Batman did it the mighty whitey way and eventually tied into the League in some iterations.

I mean yeah, they're still heros without those additions. Just saying they also had artificial enhancements. You don't necessarily need powers to be a superhero

But could he have done this if his father weren't Howard Stark? Bruce Wayne willingly trained himself for fricking years under Ra's Ll Ghul's tutelage to make himself the hero he was. Tony Used his Dad's resources and tech to build his suit

I thought Tony Stark built his original suit pretty much out of scrap parts while a prisoner in Vietnam (upgraded to Iraq or Afghanistan in the movies) with the help of a local scientist who was I think also a prisoner.

Actually, the Justice League stories that have him as the team tactician, coordinating team encounters from The Watchtower are great right up until they have him take the field himself to finish the conflict

That's what I'm getting at. He doesn't belong in a world of metahumans or aliens with abilities that border on those of God. He belongs in the alleys beating up mafia mademen and fighting his rogue gallery, who are best when they themselves are as human as he is. Guys like Joker, Riddler, Penguin, and even Ra's (despite his Lazarus Pit) are far more compelling than guys like Clayface and Killer Croc, and even they are better villains for Batman than fricking Darkseid. I mean seriously. Darkseid could rip Batman in two.

Batman is gay, right? NTTAWWT.

There's definitely something fishy going on between him and Robin with those flamboyant costumes and all.

if you were the real batman u wouldn't have to report posts that trigger your snowflake arse so that the mods could come create a safespace 4 u. What kinda grown arse man does something like that? Thats pretty embarrasing. are you balding as well?

That simply means he's rated highly, and it makes it more likely that he is in fact overrated.

And it has little to do with his superpowers. The whole plot device/dossier thing. His grumpy attitude (there's a reason Batman:TAS might be one of the best versions of Batman).

The Lego Batman stuff is spot on was to why Batman is just a completely boring and annoying character.

I was about to just start screaming at you.

But it's also true. And always sad because Grayson gets so little attention outside of the Comics.

I'm not talking about the horrible poster here, IAmBatman, but the actual super hero himself. He doesn't even have superpowers so I'm not sure why he's even classified as a super hero... all he has are tools/weapons someone else made for him. Superman is as bland as it gets, but at least he's a real super hero.

No doubt he's overrated, but is easily the most liked dc superhero. So everyone is going to make excuses on how he can beat every other dc hero. Any of the other hero's especially heroes like the flash and superman could erase batman in an instant if they wanted to.
