Please help me find a new Brit series. I just finished Broadchurch and loved it. Can y’all recommend something similar? I’ve also seen The Stranger, The Five, and Safe (loved all those too). Thanks!

Line of Duty
Luther
Both police shows, I might be in the minority but I prefer Line of Duty over Luther. Both on Amazon Prime.

First 3 seasons of Rake are excellent. Australian show tho.

Bodyguard on Netflix is more in line with what you are looking for.

Dr. Foster on Netflix. Two seasons.

Wife and I loved this one. Great characters. The husband is an absolute worm and the Doc is scary obsessive.

Just finished Unforgotten on Amazon Prime and really liked it. Watching Line of Duty on Britbox now and it’s also really good.

The Fall - about a serial killer
The Missing - about abducted or missing people. Lead actor is very good and also is in Baptiste (sp)
The Tunnel - just finished the first season, about a murder and other crimes. A British and French detective work the case. Some subtitles but not bad.

I’ve said before it’s one of the most underrated series in recent memory, along with Black Sales.

OP, my wife and I are huge British drama people and we love

Line of Duty
Missing
The Fall
Bodyguard
Luther

You can’t go wrong with any of those.

As already mentioned The Missing is fantastic. A few other good ones mentioned, I would add Shetland.

Peep Show isn't similar to Broadchurch but it is good. I started Hinterland (Welsh) and it is pretty similar - I enjoyed it. As others have said, Luther.

Torchwood was fun...It's a Doctor Who Spin-off that was much more adult.

Do you have to know about Dr. Who to follow it? I haven’t gotten into Dr. Who.
