re: Solutions for a better gameday experience to keep fans in the stadium - MissTiger91
(3) better food selection in stadium
This right here is major. We are living in one of the best food states in the country and we can't come up with anything better than orange jambalaya and a limp gray Tiger burger? WTF? This summer I went to 5 MLB parks and each one had fantasti...
The Univ. of Wash. had Starbucks in their stadium
This! Why can't we have Community coffee kiosks throughout the stadium? That seems like a no-brainer in the cooler weather (iced-coffee available in the hot weather). ...

re: A students perspective on the student section - MissTiger91
2 young couples were sitting in front of us, I guess they were early 20's, probably just out of school. Oh they stayed til the 3rd quarter, but they SnapBooked and FaceChatted the whole time, and each time there was a score or an exciting play they looked up and said "oh what happened?" So really, j...

re: Traffic leaving the stadium was terrible - MissTiger91
I'm living up in in MS and I don't know how bad the flood damage was in every neighborhood, so bear with my questions. Is River Road completely torn up? That's the way we normally leave the Hayfield Lots. The cops weren't letting any traffic head that way. I didn't know if this was part of their "br...

re: RAV4, CRV, or ??? Also New or Used? - MissTiger91
Kind of a hijack...for everyone that's recommending a Subaru, how is their service? I'm in the same quandary as the OP and have also been considering Subaru. But it's kinda hard to leave that legendary Honda service. Thanks!...

re: Baseball vacations - MissTiger91
Well I'll report back with anything I find. The company sounds great. I stumbled across them looking for something else of course. We're trying to do the Eastern trip: Boston, Yankees, Mets, Baltimore, Washington (I think) and a trip through Cooperstown. They arrange all travel between cities, hotel...

re: Baseball vacations - MissTiger91
We did St. Louis and Kansas City last summer on a long weekend. It was fantastic. We loved the ballparks, however it was July in Kansas City, so we were questioning the wisdom of doing a day game there. But omg, the ballpark food........

Baseball vacations - MissTiger91
Has anyone had any experience with Triple Crown Travel? They're a company that offers baseball vacation tour packages to 4-5 ballparks, complete with game tickets, hotel, and Cooperstown if you're in that area. I was just wondering what your experience was, how you liked them, etc. We're thinking ab...

Question about parking permits for next year - MissTiger91
I didn't get a parking permit with my season tickets this year as I didn't realize it was a separate waiting list. For next year, I was looking at the parking permit map and saw the prices (2015 prices). For example, some lots are $200 for the permit and then $300 for the TAF fee. Is that PER GAME o...

re: Spinoff: Worst Traits of Each Generation - MissTiger91
Slight hijack: have they decided what the generation born after 2001 will be called? My son was born in 2001 that's why I'm interested. I've seen conflicting things....that those kids are in Generation Y, some call them Generation Z (wtf?) etc. Any ideas?...

Talk to me about public parking - MissTiger91
So I messed up and didn't get on the waiting list for a parking permit and now I'm looking into the public parking options. I see on the website the "Union Square Parking Garage" and it sells advance parking. Was this new last year? Did anyone use it or did it sell out quickly? As far as other pu...

re: Adventures at the DMV - MissTiger91
When I last had to go in person, of course I remembered it on the last day before my license expired. It was a Friday at 4pm in Jackson, MS, the butthole of the Earth. I was fully prepared for it to be an ordeal, but don't you know there were only 2 people in line? I was in and out in 10 minutes. I ...
and does anyone else feel they are starting to slowly build up a romance between Ichabod and Abbie?
Possibly. I don't know if it's going to be a romance per se, but I think down the line Ichabod is going to have to choose between Katrina or Abbie. The introduction of Hawley has ca...
