I loved comic books as a kid.

As a kid. Seems like most of the longer running ones jumped the shark long ago.

Kinda like soap operas, you can only do so much shite with basically the same people for so long.

That's what I was thinking. Course this is probably a lead in to that.

I gave up on marvel after they fricked peter parker over and let doc ock "win" and we had to put up with that superior spiderman bullshite.

In the end it got fixed and was just another gimmick.

This will be no different.

frick that.

I feel bad for Captain America fans. I would melt down hard if they made Supes into an agent of Darkseid or Lex Luthor.

Ever since the Marvel Cinematic Universe took Hollywood by storm there have been rumours that the relationship between the movie studio and Marvel Comics was rather rocky.

These were exacerbated when Marvel Entertainment CEO Isaac Perlmutter ceased overseeing the development of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as it was alleged that Kevin Feige was frustrated working with him.

After the recent success of ‘Captain America: Civil War’ the Marvel Cinematic Universe has never been more popular, which has led to online speculation that this reveal was only done to hurt both Feige and the Marvel movie division.

If that’s true then forget Iron Man and Captain America’s recent tussle, we could have an even bigger and more damaging Marvel civil war to contend with.

This is so obvious that it's not Steve Rogers. I mean are you really gonna fall for that?

Do you even Red Son bro? Or now Injustice which got a few comic issues right?

(I mean I know you're familiar with it, and it's Elseworlds and all, but still, I don't see much of a difference, honestly. Maybe you do?)

Serious question: I played the game and loved the story but I was confused as to whether it was based a comic story. Did the game come from a comic run or vise versa?

I have no problem with elseworlds stories and alternate universes which is essentially fan fiction for profit but making that official canon? Get the frick out.

The whole Hydra agent since his childhood just doesn't make sense. That would would make him a Nazi..

More than anything it's disrespectful to his creators-Simon and Kirby...as two Jewish guys who created him during WWII.

Spencer is a guy known for his liberal bias bleeding into his work, but of course Cap won't ever truly be a Hydra agent.

If he's truly breaking bad, this reeks of Teen Tony Stark.

This is not a big deal.

Marvel will take a page out of DC's playbook and run an Infinity Identity One Year Later Rebirth Crisis on Infinite New 52's and reset everything soon.

I'm pretty sure the MCU has overtaken Marvel in popularity and probably revenue, I can't imagine it hasn't; If Marvel comics is truly doing this to spite MCU they're basically slitting their wrist just to spray blood on MCU's freshly pressed dress shirt.

Kang went back in time and turned Mrs. Rogers into a Nazi agent.

It'll be Marvel's Flashpoint.

Didn't think about that, but it's actually very possible. Kang has been a recurring villian already in the new Avengers series. He even took over Vision for an issue or two.
