This one has always been too obvious to actually be surprising.
They actually did it one better in a story by making that happen to Martha after Bruce was shot and killed instead of the parents.

Well, considering probably 90%+ of the audience of the MCU will not read this, or even hear about this comic book, i think it will be ok for the MCU.

Flashpoint: Knight of Vengeance is in my top 5 Batman stories of all time. Amazing story. thats what made me wonder why there was never a Bruce/Joker story.

not sure how it is "obvious." the twist wouldn't be that he is the joker. it's more about the story and how Gotham would be shaped if that were the case. who would obviously be Batman then?
It would have made sense in the Gordon-Batman series, but if not him, I'd say Dick Grayson.
Because in DC 90% of the time the answer should be, "Dick Grayson."

Yeah I forgot about that one, which was more surprising than a Bruce Joker.

They could make Captain America a bipolar homeless homosexual otherkin polygamist and in 10 issues they would just press the reset button and nothing would matter. shite, he was dead not long ago.
There is never a reason to give a frick about major changes in comics because it will always reset.

This is a common misconception, marvel actually created superman well before this happened and didn't kill superman until the nineties.

First they came for the Fantastic Four, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a fan of the Fantastic Four.
Then they came for the X-Men, and I did not speak out—

Then they came for Captain America...

You know, there are children in this thread who believe the things that you say.

I really don't think there are. But just in case, if you drink Mellow Yellow daily then you can't get a girl pregnant!!! True fact.

Eh, didn't see his first post, so that one made absolutely no sense.

This is ONLY being done to sell comics. Like all the deaths and other 'shocking' story lines it will be returned to normal.

But please, let’s not pretend this is real, or permanent, or won’t be utterly undone in a storyarc or two. After all, Steve Rogers has got more movies to star in soon.
