The 80's was an unbelievable age for teen movies.. Maybe since it was the first time the industry truly paid attention to quality teen movies on a mass competing scale..... but no era before and since has been able to compete with the forerunners.

Even after all the classic 80s movies you have so many more that speak to the 80s teen young and old

Hiding out
Max Dugan returns
Cloak and dagger
Explorers
Heathers
Adventures in babysitting
3 o'clock high
The legend of Billie jean

And the list could go on......

ETA... how could I forget

Lucas
Just one of the guys..... those titties

Still love this movie today.

When walking somewhere with my kids, I sometimes will break into a hop and sing "A horse is a horse, of course, of course", like the alien did at first contact.

I do this just to embarrass them.

I actually had to go back to my OP of the thread and change it. I had "Porky's" as one of my top 5, but it is not an 80's teen movie because it is set in the 50's

It was never Ridgemont before for me, but looking back, it is. It's a great balance of it all.

Downvotes will rain down upon me but i never really like fast times at ridgemont high. Outside of Phoebe Cates showing her boobs it's kindof an average flick.

My top....whatever

Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Can't Buy Me Love
Breakfast Club
Real Genius
Goonies
weird science
