Just watched this episode. Loved it.

If they cancel this show and keep the simple minded garbage that networks put out it would be a crime.

We don't know.

He's a vegetable.

(At least he didn't make him drink urine again.)

So it looked like a bowling alley to you, interesting.

If you have it recorded go back and listen to the conversation. It's pretty clear. Except that I'm not sure they are alive anymore. They may have all died in the woods. But probably not. But maybe.

This has got to be the weirdest season of any show I've seen, and I'm really liking it now that it is hitting its stride.

As somebody said earlier, now I've got to go back and watch the season when she went to LA. That had seemed like a random dead end. Apparently not.

TV doesn't get any better than this.

Yeah, but it was way more than that too.

OK - went back and watched the LA episode. It's almost certain that the "guy" in the bowling alley and on the flight planted the shoes and box with the switch in her room. And the robot story and the box is an allegory for her life. She wants to help, but it's OK if she quits. The box is his way of letting her know that it's time to turn her switch to "off". Like Sheriff Bell did.

And the motel where she stayed in LA looked a lot like the one where Llewellyn was killed.

And there is a lot of A Serious Man in this show, two key actors (who swapped the name Sy) (and there is a rabbi Nachtner in both).

Without knowing this for sure, I think they filmed those scenes at the same hotel. Obviously in the show, they are located in different states.

I'm sure I'll be downvoted heavily for saying this but this season sucks compared to the first two and is probably the reason the show is being cancelled.

I wouldn't say it's sucked. It's sort of been a let down for me, like True Detective Season 2, but not nearly that bad. The story just isn't as interesting as the first two seasons and is at times hard to follow.

Guessing it has been brought up before but is it possible that the chief is on Vargas' payroll?

So are we to believe that last episode didn't happen? The chick was about to die and is now totally fine like nothing happened.

Emmitt sending them in before confessing was who I was thinking. Maybe it was Sy before he was poisoned

There was a time jump between where they showed Sy getting poisoned and then in the hospital as a vegetable. They jumped from Christmas to mid-March.
