He will definantly go heel and side with Nucky now it seems.

This is what I can't wait for. Van Alden was crazy on the side of the law, but can you imagine him on the other side, especially with the religious angle?

Yeah, I noticed that, too.
Slept with mom, killed dad.

I think he moves into a husband role now even if it's not sexual. The way his mom told the son "I'm right here" was as if she is now attempting to become his mother.

I caught that and then the last line..."i'm gonna put him to bed and go upstairs." Like she's waiting on him like his wife would. :creepy:

Could get interesting if (Nucky) decides to kill Margaret and tries to get the irishman to do it

This would be a badass scenario and open the door for Lucy to get back with Nucky. Hope that happens, loved it when Lucy would strip down and get naked. She's a robo-babe.

This was a really good episode. I liked that we got to see Jimmy in college and see he has a history of screwing up. Kinda crazy he banged his mom. I would like to see a little bit of him in the war. I think most people are going to think that he killed his wife since he was gone and went all crazy on heroin. I can see Eli and Nucky patching things up because it seems that they are going to need each other now.

I am also getting tired of Margaret. She seems to think that dumping money to the church is going to solve her problems. Even the priest seem to give the vibe that "you need to get your shite together."

Yeah that'd be fun to watch. I bet the Irishman wouldn't think twice about killing her either. He seems pretty stone cold. he didn't even flinch when the other maid busted him and Margaret talking about each other.

I don't see any way that Van Alden can stick around in Atlantic City.

I can see a lot of these things happening, but I think it'll end up like this...

Jimmy and Richard are gonna frick some shite up. Jimmy lives. Jimmy kills his mother. Book that.

Eli is soon to die. His character is going nowhere. He has very few outs, except for taking the US Attorney's deal, but even if he does, I still don't see him making it out.

Van Alden kills himself. The dude has lost the only thing stable in his life - his job. And they're hunting him down.

It may be out there, but I could see Nuck ordering Owen to kill Margaret, and of course he won't do that.

Richard brutally kills the butcher.

Chalky gets his revenge, rises to some real deal power.

nucky kills for power or justice, not scorn. so I highly doubt he makes margaret's kids orphans just cause he mad. he was trying to give her the deed to 160,000 acres of land and she was too paralyzed to even listen to him. He is just going to dump her.

i cant see van alden killing himself, but i can see him taking the baby and the nanny and skipping town

The only way I can see Van Alden killing himself is by giving the nanny his daughter. Or he might just skip town without Abigail and have a resurgence in season 3.

the only thing way the driveman can SEE them knocking her off is painting it as a suicide caused by her childs disease. nucky could get the priest to say that she was having severe psychological problems......how do you think he's gonna get money that new roof?

The priest already turned down taking more money from Maggie.

Mickey Doyle is a dead man walking.

See, I disagree with this.
If you check out HBO GO, they have interactive viewing which lets you check out behind-the-scenes stuff.
The actor who plays Mickey Doyle said that Doyle pretends to be foolish to trick others into underestimating him.
I think Doyle is about to make his big move.
He must be pissed off at everyone for turning their backs on him and injuring him.

I just feel like his character is only starting to be explored.

That, and I find him really interesting.
So, I want him to make it.

I really see Mickey going big soon, and I really don't want van alden to go anywhere, his character arc is amazing. I want to see him to all gung ho on the criminal side like he was on the lawful side

I think Van Alden goes back to Doyle and something happens there. He obviously can't take him up on the offer for $150K anymore, as his FBI career is sort of....over.

Goes in with him, or whacks him and takes over?
