Margaret is one stupid count. Probably a good piece of arse for Nucky at the beginning, but it's getting time to take her down to the Used Woman Lot for a trade-in or better yet, send her and the kids on a one way trip back to Ireland. She is indeed a liability.

Jimmy's mother is one sick bitch. Sort of cute, but as sick as she is, probably needs to be snuffed out at some point. THAT SCENE WAS CREEPY!!!! Had to put my hand over my dog's eyes so to not corrupt her.

I officially can't stan margaret anymore and the whole I need to be a good person because my daughter can't walk bullshite. If I was Nucky I would have offed her a very long time ago. She likes to play both sides between being holy and being bad. Plus, the whole situation with the priest where she takes every single word he says literally drives me crazy.
Now to the relationship between jimmy and his mother. HOLY shite is this not a fricked up relationship. IMHO, Jimmy never had the chance to be a normal dude. His mother started off weird with the whole "i used to kiss his penis" statement earlier this season. Now we find out that they actually hooked up one night
. The whole time during that drunken scene I was saying to myself...jimmy please don't sleep with your mother,dude.

Great episode although it moved pretty slow. A big ole WTF, but not unexpected. The whole Jimmy preview makes me think it's about killing the Jewish guy and he was talking to Richard. Notice he had his shirt off? That wasn't a business talk, that was something personal.

There was another literary reference in the episode, In Jimmy's flashback he is reading the Revenger's Tragedy which is about a man getting revenge for the death of his fiancee.

that was a WTF episode right there, slow but yet so much happened, a lot to digest really, very curious to see how they wrap this up in the last episode
watching those behind the scenes/ about the episode videos on HBO makes you realize how brilliant these writers are and the amount of energy and thought that they put into the show... its amazingly deep

As sson as he started taking off her clothes I knew what was about to happen. C-R-E-E-P-Y!! She was drunk and Jimmy was so gullable it seems too. That was scene of season for me. Nothing has made my jaw drop more than that. Dude banged his mom...man thats sick
Van Aldens chickens have come home to roost. Nucky's laywer is worth more than he is paying him it seems. Van Alden was in complete shock walking in that door and when those shoes got pulled out it was over for him. Wife gone, mistress gone,newborn at home,no job and running from the law. He will definantly go heel and side with Nucky now it seems.
I agree with earlier posters. Margaret is in danger of getting whacked. I can see her contacting her brother and trying to move her and the kids to NYC to escape Nucky. Slater and Nucky are gonna come to blows about her it seems. Thought Margaret was going to tell Nucky she slept with Slater but she locked up. Interested in seeing how Nucky eventually finds out.

I am afraid of this. I love his character, the way he talks and laughs gets me every time. It was funny to see him take charge with the Van Alden meeting as he is usually the low man with Lucky/Jimmy/Capone etc.

Van Alden doesn't seem like the suicide type. But he is unstable as hell, so I wouldn't put it past him. The lady AUSA better watch her back. I can't to see what Van Alden will do with his back against the wall.

I think he moves into a husband role now even if it's not sexual. The way his mom told the son "I'm right here" was as if she is now attempting to become his mother.
