Bureau of Internal Revenue.
I assume that turns into the IRS.

This episode was just plain disturbing, all the way from the story to how it was presented. I looked away, like a lil bitch, most of the scene with Jimmy "helping" his mom, and my worst fear came true. The writing on this show is superb and I don't know what the frick they will throw at us next week. Literally anything can happen.

The episode creeped me out, because all we saw of Jimmy for the majority of the episode was in flashbacks...disturbing flashbacks, at that.
It left us wondering how Jimmy was doing in the present, knowing that his wife was killed with her lover.

My girlfriend and I were on the couch, knees pulled in and eyes covered. Creepy to watch it even though you've known for a while that it was coming.

This show loves to "mind frick" the audience (which is quite remarkable because some of the characters are non-fiction, so we know how they eventually die).
Example: How many of us would have bet $100 that Chalky's son Lester would be dead by now? Or how many would guessed that Dunn Pursley would end up becoming a key solider for Chalky?
Personally, I haven't been invested in a show with such a solid depth chart of deep characters since The Wire. As good as Sopranos and Deadwood were, a lot of the secondary characters just remainded secondary.
It really puts things into perspective when you think of it this way...Al Capone might not even be one of the top 10 most interesting characters on the show. My list (that constantly changes):
My List:
1) Nucky
2) Jimmy
3) Harrow
4) Van Alden
5) Chalky
6) Rothstein
7) Owen
8) Lansky
9) Luciano
10) Lucy

Wow Jimmy really is a mother fricker! And a murdering dope fiend too.

I am thinking that Richard thinks that Jimmy killed his wife. Richard seemed to really like her and was jealous of what Jimmy had and I think he turns against him now.

Possibly or goes back to Chicago, which I hope doesn't happen.

And they've been pretty good at letting some things unravel slowly too. We first heard about Schroeder's potentially on-the-boat pregnancy in the first season or suggestions of Jimmy's creepy life in the first season and they haven't really started to reveal themselves until now. It's a nice slow burn that takes good writing to pull off.
The season finale is setting up to be absolutely epic. Really love this show.

I think this would be too obvious/easy for the writing on this show. Does he maybe end up harboring some resentment towards Jimmy for what happened? Yeah. But I think his "cleaning up" for Jimmy when the Commodore went down (think back to the subtle nod he gave him before closing the curtain) showed he's still loyal to Jimmy because things aren't so black and white as right or wrong for these guys.

just ppl speculating that Chalky's son would get murdered. They built him up on how he's going to college, etc.
I really never thought Jimmy and his Mom had actually had sex. I just figured she was a young mom and had a weird, jealous and totally inappropriate fuzzy boarder thing going with him but that's it. Kind of eeeww but now it's eeeeewwwweeewwww.
anyone notice Jimmy was in the same hotel room where he and his mom did it when he was chasing the dragon?

Are you sure?
I thought he and his mom bumped uglies in his apartment/dorm room.
