He was perfect as Bruce Wayne in Batman Begins. And he was solid as Batman. I gave him a pass as the Batman character...because it was going to take time for him to be comfortable in that part.

In The Dark Knight....wow...Did he drop the ball or what. I knew it was going to be less about Wayne because of the other characters. He was still very good as Wayne, but man was he terrible as Batman. The voice was just terrible to listen to. I really couldnt wait till the Joker or Dent/TwoFace showed up again.

Now whats remarkable is that despite the "lead" lacking in the movie...it was still great.

Hope he does a better job in TDKR. I think Hardy will outdo him like Heath did...but c'mon Bale..at least hold your own..

I think he will tone it down in The Dark Knight Rises. Something tells me that this one will be less about the supporting characters and more about Bruce Wayne/Batman. His voice in TDK aside, he didn't really have that much to work with in the last movie.

I still don't get the people hating on the voice but whatever.

I thought Bale was fine in both movies. TDK was too damn long, could have been two movies.

When adjusted for the irrational love it gets on here, it's a shitty movie. But in absolute terms, you're right, it wasn't horrible.

You think the Movie board is the only place that got its knees for this movie?

I've never had a movie put me to sleep so I don't have that problem.

I don't think the love for The Dark Knight is restricted to the Movie/TV Board of Tigerdroppings.com, my friend.

It was nominated for 8 Academy Awards, won 2 of them.

It currently holds a 94% Fresh Rating on Rottentomatoes.com with the average score being 8.5/10.

It's currently #15 on Empire Magazine's 500 Greatest Movies of All-Time list.

It's currently sitting at #9 on IMDB's list of the Top 250 Movies of All-Time.

It was in pretty much every major critic's top ten list for Best Movies of 2008.

Other than that, it's a pretty crappy movie.

The Dark Knight is a good movie....7.5/10 type good. By no means is it a GREAT...9/10 type movie. I LOL'd at people calling it the best crime drama in cinema history.

The hype went way overboard.

I think Bale plays an excellent Wayne and is pretty damn good as Batman too.

I will never get the hate for the voice that people have. Would you rather Batman just sound exactly like Michael Keaton or George Clooney and in no way mask his voice? It makes sense for him to mask it and it's what he always did in the comics/animated series, etc.
