So no Tate in first episode?
I think he was the shadowed guy in the house where the detective went with his little girl and found those dudes murdered.
The one calling him and threatening him.
Speaking of that house, would it kill a motherfricker to turn on a freaking lamp when walking through a strange house where you suspect your wife is being harmed and the alarm is going off?
He did the same thing in Room 64. Turn on a light when a crazy murderer sends you somewhere dark!

Just finished watching.
Soundtrack: ON frickING POINT
I thought Gaga was just fine in her role. Like some ancient wax carving oddity come to life.
Can't stand Chloe Svwhatever.
Bomer gets to spend an eternity with his mom.
Is Paulson a ghost?
I'm really liking this season's potential.

It was pretty good. I gave it 7/10 earlier in the thread.

Man, I don't know.
First off, who am I supposed to like? The psychos? The killers? The detective who leaves his family to stay at that creepy hotel with his vampire son?
What's up with it being modern times, yet kids playing the gameboy edition of Tetris from 1989 with 1994 playstation controllers?
All the other shows, the first episode built up some sympathy for the damned, so far I just hate everyone.

How can an American TV show portray this level of violence, sex, and terrifyingly grotesque imagery, but curse words and nipples are a no no?
Because America, that's why. We can show graphic gore and market violence to kids, but you better cover those aereolas up.

Why is this always a point of contention on this board? Why does every show need a likeable character and a happy ending?

Lady Gage WYHI?

Good enough.

I think she is some kind of vampire and Gaga is the leader. She brings them back to life, then they all crave blood.
Very odd, they cut throats rather than bite them .

It is and it isn't. I think EVERY show to be successful you have to either like a character or truly hate a character. I do not want or expect "happy". It's just there is no sympathetic character for the audience to attach to. Maybe it will be the surviving Swede, maybe the kid, IDK.

My theory is everyone is pointing to ghosts or vampires but when I saw the "kids" room, I immediately thought aliens, for some reason.

Is it just me or does the carpet in the hotel remind you for "The Shining?"

My wife mentioned last night that she read it is an actual hotel in Los Angeles. Imagine how many people are going to be requesting room 64 there.
