My wife mentioned last night that she read it is an actual hotel in Los Angeles. Imagine how many people are going to be requesting room 64 there.

Apparently this place has had quite a few murders.

1. Good god that arse rape scene was pretty damn graphic. I hate to be all PMRC but there are definitely going to be kids watching that shite. You can't monitor them 24/7. If there are grown people saying it's too disturbing, imagine how it impacts a kid. Just my opinion.

2. What's enough on Hotel Californa? It's kind of a given with the lyrics but goddamn, they had to play damn near the whole song? Some of us are kind of Lebowski-like when it comes to the Eagles. A little goes a LONG way.

fify. I don't care for her music and think her gimmick is lame, but anyone who would not stand up in it is either a woman or gay. The third group, straight men who say they wouldn't, are just entirely full of shite.

So, you're more worried about seeing a man get assraped than the innocence of children? Do you always watch gay rape porn or is it only on special occasions?

No. I'm more worried about the shitty parents who are allowing their children to watch it. You must be one if you are that worried.

I wasn't crazy about that scene . . . maybe there is something else going on there, I don't know.

The whole episode was ok, just a lot going on - I'll stick with it a bit. It needs to really put a lot into the next episode or two to keep my interest though.

The show is OK. I will continue to watch. Very bizarre. About what I expected. It's nice to see some new faces. These two are the best thing about the show. fricking badass.

I'm just not on board with showing shite like that just for the sake of being edgy. They could've shot that in a way that you knew what was going on without showing the actual arse-pounding. I'm not concerned about a 5 year old seeing that. I'm more concerned about the 13-17 year olds that have a little more TV freedom. It's just kind of silly really. Same thing goes for the blood orgy. The story of this season has so much freaking potential that it doesn't need shock/gore just for the sake of shock value.

That's why they created Parental Controls. Set it to block TV-MA. Besides, they can put in any search they want on google and find far worse.

SPOILERS

For frick's sake, Season 1 had the infantata and a girl pissing herself right before our favorite wonderboy Tate blew her head off.

Season 2 had a nurse fricking herself with a cross and an amputated fricking mutant.

Season 3 had people with shite sowed into their mouths and a man's head inside a rotting bull.

Season 4 had a fricking murderous clown and freaks.

And you finally think a little assplay went too far?

I said the same thing in every one of those season threads too. The problem is seasons 2-4 needed something to make them note-worthy because the stories fell off big time after 4-5 episodes.

Don't you love the fact that you can have obvious sex going on, it dissolves into a grizzly throat-slashing bloodfest, depicted VERY realistically...

...BUT the two chicks in the scene have to keep their nipples covered? I mean come on, Gaga actually had pasties on! Not even strippers leave pasties on while they frick.

The double standard for TV sex/violence censoring is staggeringly absurd at this point.

I'm kinda confused. Did the guy really get pounded with a drill or was it just a drug trip? Is Sarah a ghost or was that Bates imagination she pushed her? Why did Gaga take that Cops son? Why would the cop go stay at that crazy hotel ? I kinda thought Gaga would be a main character with limited speaking since she's new to acting. I'm still confused and disturbed by the first episode but will continue to watch.

Welcome to American Horror Story. The first episodes are usually WTF episodes that get explained as time goes on.
