should have never fired their last coach

Shannon and Golden basically have posted the same mediocre-to-slightly-above-average records.

Tressel. He probably feels bad about killing their program.

bullshite, OSU beat Miami in a shitty PI call. LSU killed their program. Miami took a top 10 ranking into the 2005 Peach Bowl. We beat them 40-3, kicked their arse in the tunnel after the game and stole their swagger. They have been nothing more than mediocre in the decade since.

I'd make him tell me no, but it would never happen. The administration won't allow it.

it's funny when he was hired how so many thought he would change the image of the U and at the same time bring them back to the big stage.

He accomplished one of the two

While true, the downfall started in 2004 when they lost back to back games to UNC and Clemson.

They should hire the Pilot of the Airplane they fly over every game with.

Dude shows some tenacity and consistency. At this point they are already paying him enough to be a Head Coach.

After 4 seasons they had virtually the same record. But, Golden got a raise during his tenure, a bigger buyout, and a 5th year. Shannon was a better coach than Golden.

Golden's record in ACC play after 4 years was actually the same as Shannon's in his 4 years there (16-16). He's had some bad losses too.

2-10 Maryland
4-8 Boston College
4-8 Virginia
5-7 Virginia
6-7 Pittsburgh
