The other receiving options are terrible. Who else are they going to target besides Reggie? Kris Durham?

ive actually seen a lot of stuff that says Fitz isnt what he was a few years ago. Not just production wise, but actually what he does on the field. His burst, speed, etc are slowing down a lot. When he was in his prime he was great. But, ive read a lot of things that said hi
i love on this board when people have "read" and "seen" shite but never link it

Nate Burleson will probably be back next week. Pettigrew has been much better of late. I could get open with the holes left by a defense having to cover Megatron and Reggie simultaneously.

Regardless, that doesn't change the fact a NFL offense cannot be predicated on throwing 15 times into triple coverage game-in and game-out. The Lions are a better offense when Stafford finds 7-8 different targets and spreads the ball around.

Fitz should be the second best. Unfortunately, he doesn't have anyone worth a shite to feed him the ball.

Well i can fix that LINK

quote:

An anonymous NFL executive tells ESPN's Adam Caplan he'd be unwilling to trade for Larry Fitzgerald. "Too many lower body injuries (hamstring, ankle)," the executive said. "You know he'll play though them. ... But for the cost involved and age, it's just not worth it. (Receiver) is not one to tie up money with for an older player. It's just as simple as that." Fitz isn't viewed as a candidate to be traded before Tuesday's deadline, but could be made available in the offseason. For all the reasons Caplan's executive laid out, it would be a hard move to pull off for Arizona. Oct 29 - 3:11 PM

Better??

And Fitz was awesome. Just wasted his best years with John Skelton at QB. Sucks. But was his decision to stay in Arizona.

i'd say AJ Green.

he's put up insane numbers with not much help at the other WR spot. He usually is drawing double teams b/c of it.

but I guess Cincinnati has started to add more weapons to their arsenal. Thinking about the RB Gio Bernard who catches a lot of passes out the backfield and the new TE Eifert, also Marvin Jones.

people like to compare Green and Julio but I think that it really isn't a good comparison. Look at who Julio has on his team to help him draw more single coverage.

B. Marshall would be my #3. He really is fricking beast who put up solid numbers even when he was with the Dolphins and he had some jobber throwing him the ball.
