For me it's Bonds, he's the best player I ever saw and he should be a hall of famer just based on his pre-steroid career

Bonds from 2001-2004 was numbers too unrealistic for a video game.

Bonds is the GOAT.

Griffey while amazing is not quite on the level of A-Rod

Bonds. He hit 73 fricking homeruns and that's on top of pitchers intentionally walking him 120 times that season. INTENTIONAL walks... 120 fricking times. He was nearly losing an at bat a game just from pitchers intentionally walking him.

Plus take into account the times he actually walked because they pitcher was too afraid to give him anything to hit.

And he had a batting average of like .350, on base percentage of like .600, and an OPS of like 1.4.

It's just fricking insane.

From 1996-1999, Griffey's averages per year
.294 BA, 52.25 HRs, 141.75 RBIs, .996 OPS, 18.75 SBs, 4 Gold Gloves, 1 MVP

Barry Bonds, pre-PEDs 1993-1996
.313 BA, 39.5 HRs, 109.25 RBIs, 1.075 OPS, 32.75 SBs, 3 Gold Gloves, 1 MVP

hard to say on A-Rod and pinpoint when exactly he began to cheat

Pretty close. I personally prefer Griffey

yep, completely natural for someone to peak at age 36

Bonds, easily, but he was cheating.

Better question (if you accept the cheating) is peak Bonds vs. peak Ruth.

Bonds walked 232 times in 617 PAs in 2004.

He was only IBBd 35 times that season (2001) out of 177 total walks. The 120 IBBs came in 2004, when he walked 232 times.
