Hermann wont jump into that mess, especially knowing that Texas and A&M could both come calling seven months from now.
Hell, that school in Austin could be calling him soon too

Herman and Chad Morris
Neither.
Herman wants the UT job and is a season away from getting it.
Morris is an Aggie and knows that if he can turn SMU around he can coach at his alma mater soon since that job is now held by the #1 guy in the hot seat.

Will be.
Will be.
He knows this. No way he blows this opportunity to take over that mess up the road at Baylor.

I said 'could' because I'm not in the loop on Strong's contract nor the temperature of his seat. I do know they are looking at a potential dog shite upcoming season though.

If the overall culture of the program is what got Briles fired, then how can you promote from within that same culture?

Who does Baylor hire?
I can't take personal credit for this suggestion, but it's a good one:
Mike Singletary
Baylor grad, coaching experience, hard nosed, currently unemployed.

I honestly have no idea what a situation like this does to a school's competitiveness, especially since no sanctions yet, but Baylor is by far the better of the three schools suited to make a title run anytime in the near future.
However, that could change. Overnight.

First requirement: how blind, deaf, and dumb can you be to rape allegations.
Second: how far will you run from a competitive schedule.

Would promoting his son as interim look bad?
Posted on 5/26/16 at 12:50 pm to Sev09
Yes, even if that's not fair to his son. We have no idea if he had any role but it just looks awful PR wise

Can you read?

no one worth their salt leaves this late in the game to take BU. Look at Mike Shula and Alabama. Unless you find a retired or unemployed coach who would commit to a year

I'd love Herman to go to Baylor just to keep him away from Texas or A&M.

You'll never live down this mistake.
