but Wilson will pull probably 11-13 million per.

You really think Wilson is going to get 11-13 when we have QBs like Stafford, Cutler, and Romo are getting 17-18 mil?

I know these guys routinely do badly on math exams, but he's AT BEST 5th, behind Manning, Brady, Drew and Rodgers (in whatever order pleases you).

Then you have a cluster of: Ryan, Cam, Flacco, Big Ben, Eli, Kaep, Luck, Wilson, Rivers, Romo

I mean who is really 5th?

It was more from a personality standpoint, but I guess that is overrated.

I was thinking Big Ben numbers. 6 years/88 million.

does anyone think we will see a qb salary cap? QB salaries are getting crazy. I think the cap is 130 mil this yr and a handful of teams have 20 mil qb's that account for 15% of the cap space. Do we start to see push back from other players that cant get their big deal?

Well they could always let him go and get stuck with someone like Geno Smith.

Seattle is in the same boat. I don't think Wilson comes out asking for 20 million like Kaep, but Wilson will pull probably 11-13 million per.

Which is tiny amount for him, but Kaep at 17-20M

I read a while back Thomas was the bigger priority, although Sherman is such an elite talent, but CBs will always command more $$$

Colin Kaepernick won't settle for anything less than $20M per season annually in a new contract.
Colin needs to shut his mouth or get a PR agent, or the 49ers are leaking this info. Either way, if he has problem with his contract let his agent do the talking behind closed doors.

It's worth it - for the very reason of backpay...and what the Niners have gotten on the uber-cheap rookie salary-cap.

Niners got him @ 4 years - $5.12 million.

He made $740,000 last year.

That's a joke for a SB appearance and NFC Champ game in back to back years.

Remember as a rookie just a few years back.

Sam Bradford got $50 million guaranteed...@ 6 years 86 million.
