I mean if you're going to draft three pgs in one draft, shouldn't you draft at least one that is versatile and can play more than one position. They also traded away the best one on draft night. Rubio, Flynn, and Lawson....

Hey now, it's not like we saw Curry play both positions during Davidson's epic Elite 8 run. Oh wait, we did? Fawk. Well, it's not like Ty Lawson was blitzing the field during their tournament run. Oh wait, he was? Fawk.

I know this could be done with a lot of drafts, but they could have ended up with Curry, DeRozan, and Lawson, rather than Rubio, Flynn, and a future pick.

he's got a legit beef with the front office they're not doing enough to put a winning team around him.

plus they kind of insulted him by not giving him the mega-max deal and indirectly said they were saving it for rubio

that's pretty fricked up for your franchise player

And the original post says he's open to playing for the Knicks. smh

For someone who's always so critical of the media, you should know better than to believe everything that you read. Oh, and the Knicks made the playoffs last year. The twolves haven't been in forever. You hate the NBA, and you don't know shite about it, do just stay out of the thread with your bloviating punditry. Smh

Everybody saw this coming from a mile away and I don't blame him at all. The Timberwolves haven't even been competitive most of his time there nor have they made much of an effort to be competitive. I remember seeing an article about the 2012 Olympic team and he was the only player on the roster to never play in the playoffs (other than a rookie Anthony Davis). If he's upfront with them about trading him or they get nothing for him, I don't see any harm. I'd love to see what he can do on a playoff roster.

This is almost totally interchangeable with Lebrons situation in Cleveland and we all know how that turned out....

so we're all gonna bash Love for leaving to go to a team with better players around him, right?

That's exactly what the "knowledgable fans of the MSB" will do.

you don't see the difference between LA and Minnesota?

Of course but the Lakers would still have to attract another star and fill out the roster to be competitive in the west. That's possibly another 2 years of losing especially if the Lakers traded for Love. It could be smart on his part to try and force his way to the Warriors, opt in after next year and go to the Lakers in 2016 after the rebuild.

Two different situations. Love is at least giving management time to trade him so they get something in return (even after they fricked him over on the contract extension). Also, I don't see him on national television..

The Rockets could almost certainly construct the best trade package for MN. And they could do so with WHITE guys that Minnesota clearly prefers

Golden State could offer way more than the Lakers or Knicks as well with combo of legit 50 cent pieces like Green, Barnes, Lee, Iggy, etc.

Damn Rockets would be stacked. Guessing they'd have Parsons and Jones as part of their package. Lin and/ or Asik expiring next yr?
