If the Seahawks would have traded Matt Flynn to anybody, but the Raiders he would have done well. Nobody could thrive behind that o-line.

Couch had a really good stretch of games with 300 yard performances in 2002 I think, and that's before 300 yards was just a typical day

I don't know if JaMarcus would have been successful somewhere else, but nobody would have found success in that disgrace of an organization.

Matt Flynn does not have the arm strength or deep ball accuracy to thrive in the NFL. He is smart and decently accurate, which makes it possible for him to have great games (see those Green Bay games), but defenses can destroy him with a little film. Flynn reached his NFL ceiling. He's made lots of money, and I'm happy for him, but he is not an NFL starter.

Kelly Stoufer had good arm and pro type size. The concussions limited his career.

Chase Daniel I think if he is anywhere but New Orleans he becomes a middle tier QB and then going to KC they were not going to replace Alex Smith. He is now a career back up wich is not a bad deal, shows that the Chiefs and Saints thought he has talent and did/do not want to see him leave.

If Tim Couch had an offensive line he might still be playing

I don't know if Carr would have "thrived", but I think he would havebeen serviceable on a non expansion team.

Dude was shellshocked by the end of year two.

Mike McMahon - anyone remember the thanksgiving day game he almost pulled out of his arse? He was a phenomenal talent

As a Lions fan, I can definitively state that Mike McMahon was pretty damn far from a phenomenal talent.

Losman was solid in 2006 I think. They really didn't handle him well.

Flynn wasn't good to begin with.

Getting ready to add cam to the mix. He still plays pretty well but he needs a good QB coach desperately.

He needs WRs.

He wouldn't have thrived, but I do think Jason Campbell would have remained a solid NFL starter for a while under different circumstances.

ETA: I suppose he wouldn't really be a failed QB, given his solid career as a backup

6'2 235 lbs, solid muscle...ran a 4.5 40...very tough, good arm strength...he's the all time leading passer at Rutgers

he played 4 seasons in Detroit for shite coaches, with shite players, that no quarterback could succeed with...given the history of first year quarterbacks, he wasn't the suck everyone will surely remember him as...he only started a handful of games in 4 seasons for just a dreadful organization

I'm not saying he'd have been HOF, but he could've been good elsewhere...then he followed the guy who killed his career to philly...

marty morningwhig and you see all the success he's having with young quarterbacks now
