Sam freakin' Bradford...

I mean, he has an amazing skill set and everything you would love for your franchise QB to have... if only his knees would work

His knees aren't his biggest problem. I think its a LOFT problem.

no, he's played eeeh. I've been impressed, and he was definitely set up for failure in NY.

he's still thrown picks (I think 2 in both) in both starts and a huge fumble...

I see shades of the guy he was supposed to be and shades of butt fumble...he could easily be on this list, I just didn't think of him for some reason

Vince Young was basically the black Ryan Leaf. Dude didn't have it mentally.

If he did he'd be a damn good qb.

He wouldn't have thrived, but I do think Jason Campbell would have remained a solid NFL starter for a while under different circumstances.

Beat me to it. The guy seemingly had a different offensive coordinator or head coach every year he played, and he played for arguably the 4 worst organizations in the NFL (Washington, Cleveland, Oakland and Cincy).

Tebow.

Could have been a stud if he had landed on an offense with a good coach and decent offensive weapons.

Flynn is good for what he is, a backup. He can come in if the starter is hurt and you'll feel like you may have a chance because he's decent. He's just not starter quality though.

Leftwich had a few good seasons, but with actual weapons on the outside could have been much more, IMO.

Kordell Stewart if given an offense similar to the way the 49ers run.

Chad Pennington in an Andy Reid/West Coast time scheme.

Was he a "fail"?

I always thought he was pretty servicable considering his physical limitations.

Yeah...I suppose you really can't classify him or Leftwich as "failures". I suppose I was thinking of this in terms of those who could have been possible stars for several years if different circumstances.
