Montana at least resembled his old self and had a little bit of magic left. Tiger, not so much.

Is this a Rich Beem thread? Tiger may very well be done. But equating a couple of decades of dominance, 80 PGA wins and 14 majors with "15 minutes" is pretty fricking stupid.

It's like seeing Joe Montana in a chiefs uniform. Sad.

As an Oiler fan I recall Joe at least had a sniff of greatness in that Chief uniform. Short lived but it was there.

Tigers collapse and possible but improbable comeback is still the most compelling story in sports. Now it's sadness is compelling. The fact that if he won a John Deere it would be a big deal, is sad.

I know I am sad. I really wanted him to give Jack a run.

I knew he wouldn't win another major after his incident with his wife. Damn I should have put money on it

ESPN will still devote 20% of their golf coverage to Tiger, even if he isn't actually participating.

This is just getting silly at this point. If he and any of his fans still think he can win anything they are delusional

He should retire.

It's embarrassing.
90s are over.

Apparently you only saw the Buffalo game then, because you made a stupid comparison.

That's because he's still the most polarizing figure in the sport, and there still isn't a close second.
