Had Mettenberger played, it would have been a completely different game. Outside of Hill, our two biggest offensive weapons (who will be in the NFL next year) had their effectiveness reduced by the loss of Mett.

No i get what you were saying.
I was just saying that having the 15th most players in the NFL in the last 15 years is a good achievement. But, being 1 of the top programs when it comes to sending players to the NFL and being 1 of the most valuable programs, Iowa has only finished in the top 10 4 times in those 15 years. Thats not an impressive achievement. And youre paying Ferentz right around $4mill a year. What that tells me is that youve got talent and the program has got the recognition. But only finished top 10 4 times since Ferentz has been there. Talent and brand is there. But the product isnt.
If there was a program that was top 15 in sending players to the NFL and was a top 15 program value wise in the past 15 years, and their coach was making top 10 $$$, I would expect them to consistently be in the top 15 in the country.
And Im an Iowa fan and want to see yall do great. But that stat isnt something worth bragging about.
Hope yall do great next year though. That CB Desmond King, #14, will be a stud in the pros.

It is top ten in the nation and second in the Big Ten behind a cheating program. I'll take that.

Being top 10 4 times in the past 15 years doesnt = a top 10 program.
And thats the best 4 years in the past 15 for Iowa. Curious to know where the finished the other 11 years... Or their average finish out of those 15 years.

How craptastic is Iowa, when you have money, Top 10 program, and still are 69th in recruiting.
