Sampras is more of an attacking player. He would have forced the issue, and with his athleticism around the court and specifically in moving towards and around the net -- people forget how athletic Sampras was -- he wouldn't have given Fed time to make pretty, varied shots.
Your guess is as good as mine, who knows.

I don't think I've ever seen Stakh play.

Would have been a good match for sure.

Did the Golden Era of tennis just end?

to Stak. He volleyed and hit a few backhands like Stefan Edberg. It looked like 1990's grass court tennis out there. Oh, and his old lady has a Mila Kunis thing going.

Fed bounced. Who is next?
Wimbledon got all screwed up today.

Wow, serve and volleyer axes Fed.

Wow. What an insane first few days at Wimbledon. Nadal out in the first, Fed and Sharapova out in the second. All those injuries this morning.
When was the last time a major was heading into the third round and neither Fed nor Nadal was still in?

2002 or early 2003.

Everybody get ready for Murray v. Djokovic. The remaining matches up until then are mere exhibitions.

First time for me, I cannot believe what just happened.
The Brits are going to be happy.
Book it, it is going to be DelPo vs Murray in the final.
Unless we keep seeing upsets lol

You obviously have not been paying attention the past few days

Delpo has a game better suited for grass than the joker. If he keeps playing like he is, he will beat him again (did in the Olympics last year)

If Delpo beats Djoker in a five set match on grass, I will bang Pippa middleton rawdog style and have it taped and streamed all over the world.

This is simply a false statement.

Oh, I'm sorry, please pretty please explain to me the causal connection between Nadal and Fed losing, and the ensuing matches of both Djokovic and Murray.
I look forward to your response, which I'm sure will be well-reasoned and not pure gibberish.

So who is everybody rooting for now on the men's side? Personally, I have:
1. Any American
2. Andy Murray
3. Kei Nishikori (don't know why, but I am suddenly a fan of this guy).
