Put him on an average team and he would be a very average quarterback.
Based on what exactly?

ETA: Ignore the question. See below. I don't expect any actual football analysis.

In the context of the Seahawks' system, to criticize Wilson for his lack of guady yardage numbers is missing the point. It's a run-first ball-control offense that when clicking on all cylinders is amongst the most efficient in all of football. Just because his team is so talented, balanced, and doesn't trail often doesn't mean he's not capable of putting up 300+ yard games if he was required to throw the ball 40+ times as opposed to 25+.
Fortunately, some people don't have the mental capacity to understand this.

He will never come close to this. He has three 300 yard games in his career

Drew Brees had 5 in his first 4 seasons... So this doesn't mean anything.

Just because he isn't asked to, doesn't mean he can't. Some people will never understand that. I don't know how anyone can look at (a) the ball he throws, (b) the decisions he makes and (c) his intelligent running ability, and say he's an average QB. Just tells me they don't know jack about football.

True. Everywhere Wilson has gone he's made them into a winner... I try to find every single reason to hate the Seahawks, because living here is unbearable... But I just can't find a reason to hate this guy.

I like the Seahawks. They are a damn strong football team. Love the QB, RB and defense. Hate that we will have to go through there on the way to a championship, but don't hate the team. Hell, I even like Sherman. Dude is a master at getting inside people's heads.

I don't mind the team per say, it's the cocky, can't take winning or losing fans... They suck

Yea, he throws it 25.43 times a game. 20-25 times seems pretty much right on huh?
Did you read the post I responded to?

He will never throw it more than 20-25 times a game.
He threw it more than 25 times in 9 games last season...

ETA: Even if he's talking about average passes on a per game basis, it's the dude's third year in the league. We're already saying that he's never going to pass more than he did last season?

I was at the 34-7 loss... Literally had it rubbed in my face every 2 minutes... Constantly told I should go back to New Orleans along with my shitty team, told they wrecked New Orleans worse than Katrina, literally got flipped off for telling someone good game... And if you knew me in person you'd know I am probably the nicest fan there is, it was stupid to be out there haha.
