I said it last time. I'll say it again.
It's like saying a baseball game is over in the top of the 10th if the visitors hit a home run

I hate the new overtime rules, with rules made to benefit the offense both teams should have a chance with the ball.
Only reason Saints won was because if the stupid hand to the face call that was away from the play.
NFL overtime is horrible.
I think both teams should get the ball. You have to match the other team, possession for possession.

Just play an extra 15-minute quarter.
If no one is ahead at the end of it, you have a tie.
It's so fricking easy.

This is the last thing I want.
I'd rather just end it in a tie at the end of regulation.

I'd be okay with that too.
If 15 is too long, make it 10.
Just keep playing football. Why all these new rules?

If your pitcher can't keep your opponent from hitting a home run, then you don't deserve to win.

Is defense not part of the game?
So why is only 1 team required to play defense based on a coin flip?

I think the Buccaneers giving up over 500 yards probably had more to do with it.
They don't commit the illegal Contact on third down in overtime, they could have gotten off the field.

Assume a game where both teams score a TD on every possession during regulation. After 60 minutes, the game is tied. The team that wins the toss scores a TD on its first possession. This game is determined by a coin flip. Still say it's fair?

All the Saints had to do was stare at the coin flip. They had nothing to do with anything.

You mean regulation ends with the score tied.

Game is not determined by coin flip, and yes this is completely fair.

NEW BASKETBALL OVERTIME RULES:
You play 5 minutes but if you get possession first and you hit a 3-pointer, the game automatically ends.

Wait, so if you guess the coin flip correctly you AUTOMATICALLY win?!?!
I had no clue. frick that. Change the rules.

So if the other team wins the coin toss, and scores a TD, it's still fair, because they worked so hard to win the coin toss and both defenses suck.
