An average guy, yes. But someone who's 6'3, in excellent shape, and has had training in martial arts could probably hold his own.

Then again, MMA and boxing stamina is definitely very different than just being in good shape.

Best male fighter vs Rousey = man wins
OP vs Rousey = OP ends up with a fist up his a-hole

This thread is always hilarious. People read too many Bruce Lee myths and start actually believing fighting is magic. It's just another sport. A very physical one. Girls suck at those.

Most concede there are over a thousand guys in Louisiana better than the best woman in the world in basketball. Yet in fighting, somehow a woman MASSIVELY restricted by a weight class is going to fare better?

It's akin to asking if the best woman in the world under 5'10 would be a better center. There are plenty of 6'3+ decent basketball players who can stumble upon a forum.

But I'm hardly surprised that a board that thinks a jockey-sized actor like Bruce Lee would beat up Mike Tyson attributes super-human ability to a girl.

She would beat most average guys arse. She fights for a living. With that being said there is a reason men and women don't compete against each other in sports. There is no substitute for size and strength.

If you have enough size to be thrown (and you would get thrown) and not hurt, along with knowledge of how to defend an arm bar, you could smother her????? But if you are a fat tub that lands horribly when thrown (judo throw) something's getting broken. And if she rolled you into an arm bar? Unless you have arm wrestling champ bicep and forearm strength, she is breaking it.

All those variables? Short answer? Nope.

Think you could take Gabrielle Garcia in a wrasslin match? I mean, she's a woman and you're a man. You should be able to stomp her with your god-given man strength, right?

No. But I'm not in the to tier of male wrestlers. And neither is Ronda. You just switched the argument from could plenty of males beat an undersized female who is presumably far from the best fighter in the world(although perhaps best pound for pound) to could I personally beat a giant overgrown woman who is probably the best wrestler in the world.

I don't necessarily think I'd beat Ronda. But its comical to hear people think that nobody could besides a trained fighter. She's tiny.

OT: I could take her and Mayweather at the same time.

IRL: Trained, professional martial arts expert? No chance.

to this thread, but about a month ago I said I could fare well against the United States women's soccer team as a goalie.
Were you the guy who said he'd stop 7 of 10 PKs from professional women, not realizing the best male goalies in the world may not stop 7 of 10 women PKs?

I'd like to hear his opinion. I think the vast majority of dudes, especially us posting here have no shot lol.

But thinking back to one of the 1st replies on page 1, the dude said he's 9 inches taller and 75lbs heavier. If he's already in great shape, I really don't think it's crazy to think he gets 3 months of training and could just overpower her in a fight, right? NOt saying he'll win easily or should win easily, and I could be way off, but I don't think it would totally surprising for someone that big to just be able to overpower her.

Probably not. I'm around 180 and she'd judo-toss my arse to the ground and armbar me within 30 seconds.
