Completely agree. But that was still an 8 v 1 and game this Hawks team playoff experience.

Cavs started rolling early as well and appeared to be clicking then. Eight straight wins until the low post defender Varejeo went down. They then proceed to implode losing most of their games until Mozgov is acquired and LeBron comes back. Now all of a sudden they are clicking again and blowing every team they play out. Now all of this may be fools gold, but it certainly appears that a tough inside presence makes all the difference in the world with this team. Trying to determine their ceiling at this point is foolish whichever way you try to argue.

tbf the hawks played the whole season without their best player. it'd be like the pacers making the playoffs as the 8 seed this year and taking the hawks to 7

OR provide some kind of consistency and drop the warriors out of your top 15 contenders. wait, that'd be pretty fricking stupid? yeah, i agree.

I think it has to do with the fact that the Warriors (and the Cavs) have better players than the Hawks...

Cavs and Clippers doubters outh there.

NBA is superstar driven. Usually the more stars on a team, the deeper they go. I think those saying the Cavs have no chance are trying to convince themselves of that like I used as a Duke hater growing up.

We will revisit these come playoff time.

I'm rooting heavily for Portland, but their lack of depth and Aldridge uncertainty scares me.

I looked at odds now and my list wasn't too far different.

Throw the players from the Hawks, Cavs, and Warriors in a draft. How long does it take for a Hawks player to be selected?

I'd take Horford 4th after LeBron, Steph, and Klay

I could see an argument for that, he is injury prone, though.

After Horford you probably have another 3-4 players selected before another Hawks player is taken.

Basically, the Hawks are playing at an insane level for the talent on their team. Horford is a really good player. Milsap is good, Teague is good. Korver is a great shooter. None of these players are superstars, their superstar is their coach apparently.

Horford is a triple double threat playing center. I'd say he's a superstar.

As far as the Clipps go-how far have the superstar heavy team gone so far?

They still have nobody on the wing and Jordan can't stay on the court in crunch time.

The Cavs are hot right now, but the entire design of their team is flawed.

Eh I'll do it right now.

1. LeBron
2. Steph
3. Klay
4. Horford
5. Love
6. Milsap
7. Bogut
8. Draymond
9. Teague
10. Kyrie

Nope, I think he is one of the most overrated players in the league. I feel like their 1-9 record with LeBron out helps justify me.

I'll play. By this logic then Marc Gasol is not a superstar

Not really, most of that was also without the low post presence they need to win. He was playing better than Love in that stretch. He's had to adjust the most since this team was brought together and has played well for the most part. You can tell he is actually on the court playing D now.
