HURRR DURRR, team accomplishment.

Just ignore the fact that Brady, the QB, led drives to win the Super Bowl. I'm not saying that more wins automatically lead to more championships. But you are making the mistake of saying better stats are the best judge.

Brady and Manning have similar post season numbers, ok. What makes Brady better, well those stats have gotten him 4 rings, vs Mannings 1 ring, oh and don't forget he chocked away a shot at a second one.

Watch and weep manning fans.

I am assuming everyone thinks Bill Russell is unequivocally the best center of all-time. Clearly, a choker like Wilt could not even be considered as the best center.

Umm a lot of believe Bill Russell is not only the greatest center of all-time but the greatest player of all-time. He's the greatest winner in the history of team sports and his impact on the game could not be overstated enough. Wilt had equally if not more talented teams (HOFers Chet Walker, Hal Greer, Billy Cunningham with the Sixers, HOFers Jerry West, Gail Goodrich, Elgin Baylor with the Lakers) and still lost to him all the time. Russell was the better player.

Brady is also Top 5/Top 10 in almost every statistical category a QB is judged upon.

And Manning is #1 in every passing stat AND HAS A HIGHER PLAYOFF QB RATING THAN BRADY

He also has 3 Super Bowl MVPs. How many does Dilfer have? I'll hang up and listen.
Don't call back.

BTW, Champ Bailey must be pretty bad. You know, no rings and all... More Sports Board logic.

Do you realize that Sanchez has a higher playoff qbr than both Brady and Peyton? It's such a silly stat to use.

Because Brady has had no worse than the #2 rated defense in the entire nfl for 3 of those rings. 2 of which his defense was ranked #1 in the nfl.

I personally think it's a wash and pretty fricking stupid for someone to argue who the better quarterback is, when you have to choose between Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, John Elway, Joe Montana, Terry Bradshaw, Dan Marino and so forth... Each was great, but don't look at a team accomplishment to decide who was the best. Weight other aspects.

Sure ... and with the game on the line ... I'll take Montana, Brady, and Elway for sure.

Marino ... maybe.

Manning ... not so much. OMAHA!

Just sing it in the Nationwide jingle:

So Brady's skills and intangibles can't be weighted because it's a "team accomplishment" but every time Peyton throws a 15 yard out in the regular season, that's all him and proof of his greatness?

Brady also has the best coach in all of football.

Brady's rookie year, and Belichick's first year in New England, the Patriots went 5-11. Brady didn't play. The next year, with Brady as the starting QB for much of the 2001 season, New England goes 12-4 and wins their division.

Ask Peyton which numbers he'd rather have. fricking losers always find stupid arguments like this. So, what are Peyton's 4th quarter numbers v. Tom's? Especially in close games.

Peyton had what, 8 or 9 Pro Bowlers around them this year and still had yet another one-and-done. It's amazing people still try to say he doesn't have help.

And you're a Florida fan that is notorious for hating on Peyton Manning.

Thanks for overlooking me pointing out that it's stupid to crown any of these quarterbacks as better than another due to a team accomplishment, though. Kudos to you, bro.

Why would I hate Peyton when he went 0-4 against us? Brilliant logic.

He didnt have help in Indy.but yes this last year he had help and lost. At no point has Manning had any where near the #1 defense in the nfl.brady has had that for 2 of his superbowl wins #2 defense for a other.
