Looks like we have seen a changing of the guard in golf today.

Why? He has done this before and vanished.

Real happy for Rory. He deserved one. Fun to watch.

Hope he can keep it rolling. When he's confident it's scary.

So who is down for a St. Andrews trip next year?

The game is bigger than Tiger baw. It has been for years now. Rounds of golf has not changed at courses. The problem has been pricing when Tiger was on fire. Everyone went up on prices. Now that prices are back to normal more can afford it. Nobody now is saying I'm starting golf because of Tiger.

It's I'm starting because of Rickie, Lexi, Spieth. Don't know when's the last time a golfer asked me what Tiger was at.

2013 was an anomaly. New Nike contract, world #1, new girlfriend, new equipment, etc. Rory won't be as bad as 2013 again. Now, he will never be as consistent as Tiger, nobody in the history of the game was. Rory will miss some cuts, not contend from time to time, but he will not "vanish" again.

Tiger and Phil have seen their glory days, their best days in golf are behind them.

I think Rory starts on a major tear over the next few years. Three majors in his back pocket already by the age of 25. He know has three of four majors to complete the 'Grand Slam'.

I think Ricky Fowler starts winning a few majors here and there.

There is a certain demographic that will always ask that.

Went last time it was held there. Highly recommend it. Stay in Edinborough and take the train to near the course.

Flying from NOLA/BR? Should be able to get under 1k (possibly around 850) if you book early enough.

Is there a different "clock" used on the players by the R&A? The final group finished shy of 4 hours. I turned the TV on this morning at like 7:15 or so and Woods' group was already done and had teed off at 3:45. In the Masters, the final group starts around 1:30 and doesn't finish until 6 pm or later. Whatever the British is doing differently, I like it.
