Long time suffering Caps fan...
Season ticket holder since 2001-2002...
We are going to waste generational talent in OV and Backstrom...
I hate our GM about as much as I hate Dan Snyder...and that is saying something...

Houston would be ideal for an NHL team. I wonder if they'll get one soon.
As much as I would like to see it I don't think it will happen. There was talk about it the whole time I was growing up but nothing came of it. The Minnesota Wild just moved the Aeros which blows. Had some great times at those games

stars. really really big fan as a kid before the lockout. semi lost interest after that, but the youth of the current team is bringing me back. used to have season tickets at reunion arena. which is now gone forever

Well Houston's growth and current population would sustain one IMO. It's the 4th largest metro area in the country.

Yep I've lived in Houston all my life so I've got no connection to a team. I've started watching so much hockey this season but still haven't really found a team I root for. Hoping it just comes natural because I think that would make me become an even bigger hockey fan
I did put a little money on stanley cup futures at the beginning of the season for Blues +1150, Rangers +2000, Capitals +2500

Stars.
Assholes play great hockey for most of two months and work their way to within 2 points of the wildcard by the end of December, then tank once January starts. So frustrating...

You are preaching to the choir
With the Aeros gone hopefully that opens up some room for one

Minnesotians care about nothing more than they do about college hockey.

the last thing the NHL needs is another team in the southern US
