Newman (7-7) staged a furious fourth quarter rally to tie the game, forcing the extra periods. The Panthers led 16-8 after one quarter and 28-19 at halftime. It was 41-32 heading to the fourth quarter. Each team scored just two points in the first overtime before the Greenies outscored Catholic 15-10 in the second overtime for the win.
