Blatant recruiting. Like Evangel level. Some of these kids were moving from other states. I think the picture posted above gives you an idea.

They probably knew he would do that when they hired him… and probably knew the championships would be taken away… it’s about the headlines while it’s actually happening

Well, to be fair, only one kid from “out of state”…and that’s Randy’s son, #3. Great kid and player. Unfortunate for the players.

According to Nola.com games for this year and last year were not forfeited

quote:

The three seasons of forfeited wins span the 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons, Newman confirmed in an additional email to The Times-Picayune.

Apparently this does not involve any current players

Newman has been cheating for decades. How do you think Livingston went there to begin with?

21 is Tayden Langdon. AKA Trajan's son.

Not hard to figure out. Football is next. I can count how many minorities went to Newman to play basketball on one hand before he took over.

fhat is actually a small part of it. Ask any Nola hoops coach that got their immediately eligible transfers.

Well Catholic's head coach wasn't suspended for a full year (I know he left) and they weren't ruled ineligible for the playoffs at any point.
catholic cooperated coach left on his own, that helped

. Had that been the case CHS could have gone public and it would have likely cost Bonnie his job. Unless of course they didn’t break any rules funny nobody on staff denied anything.

He didn’t go after CHS that all fell into his slap while investigating another school - but u already probably knew that

Do tell? It would be funny if the rat (not that recruiting wasn’t obvious) was the family of an actual Newman student pissed that their kid got pushed off the team to make room for the uh new additions.

I thought the same thing ..there is a 6.7 kid who has been there since freshman year (maybe before) that is a Senior now but is playing at Worcester Academy in MA, was thinking he may have had an issue with all the new kids coming in...the problem with that theory is Newman did not have to forfeit games from this season or last season, so whatever they are guilty of does not involve current players

So you mean to tell me this is how they are playing in all of those out of state tournaments? Color me shocked.
They are still illegal this year. No way they aren’t. He pulled in kids once he got into EYBL. He’s dirty, he had more Texas kids than LA kids on his Nola based EYBL team. He’s not the only one, they need to go on up to Calvary and look into that program too. Summer ball bleeds into hs and these coaches are winning on transfers.
