How so? I think the SECCG is a great tradition that's linked to Atlanta. Where else besides New Orleans would you actually want the game to be?

Yeah lets pick somewhere that is west to every single SEC school and in a state of a team that will never make the game more than once every 5 years because it's a shorter drive for LSU fans than Atlanta.

Atlanta is perfect for the SECCG. World's busiest airport is nearby, CFB HOF is next door, WCC is a great location for fan events, plenty of hotels right next to the stadium, MARTA makes it easy to get in and out of the city, plenty of places to grab a beer, plenty of places to grab food, etc.

The minute the SEC moves the game from Atlanta, the ACC will sign a lifetime contract with the new stadium and the SEC won't be able to get back in.

If the SEC rotates and Atlanta is only getting money once every 3 years, the ACC will sign a long term deal in Atlanta because it's better than Charlotte or Jacksonville or wherever else they get no attendance.

All good points. I would like to experience the big game in other stadiums. Not really a knock on Atlanta, just want to shake things up.
