Isn't Marcus Thornton the same size if not bigger than Delonte West? I did think West's size hurt a lot in the ECF though.

quote:im pretty sure thats correct. MT is around 6'3 and DW is around 6'1. And Thornton is a lot stronger than DW.

Good call and I maintain anyone that knows squat about basketball could have predicted Marcus would be an impact player in the NBA. Superior scoring skills and deceptively athletic and tough. To Marcus

The thing I've been most impressed with is his energy level. He makes lots of plays where it looks like he's going full speed when everyone else is standing around.

Thornton will do this team a ton of good if he can be the solution at the 2. That will solve a problem we've had for years now.
If we can get Peja off the books in the next year and get a good 3 we are in business.

Let's see if boosie returns to the thread. They look like a complete jackass in this thread.

I'm actually surprised some many people were hating on MT5 in this thread, especially boosie who knows basketball well. He's got a very quick release, can shoot from anywhere on the court, has above average quickness and basketball IQ, and is perfect for keeping the defense honest on the perimeter. I think he'll be a consistent 13ppg scorer or so in the league.

Come on guys yall don't think the coaching change had something to do with this.I love MT's game but Byron would never have given him the playing time Bower did.Hornets are legit playoff team.............

His offense is legit. His defense is the question. I want to see how he does against Kobe, Roy, etc. If he can hold his own against these guys..

I said before the season that Thornton would be starting and that was with Scott as coach. I still believe he would have been, just would've taken longer.
