you'd learn that being one of the best Spurs teams of the decade isn't the same as being one of the best NBA teams of the decade.
I love that no one is biting on this one.

Shh, give him more rope with which to hang himself. You know he will

His posts, not mine:
This SAS team is arguably one of the best in the past decade
You don't think this SAS team is one of their best in the past decade?
What's he trying to say? Heck if I know he's made contradictory statements.

Those two statements deal with different frames, but are not by definition contradictory.

Can I at least get a little clarification on his intent maybe?

He'd have to tell you, obviously, not me.
I'm just pointing out that those two statements weren't contradictory, as you claimed. You don't know the definition of the word, apparently.

I can assure you bro that I don't need YOU to give me the definition for any words.
Posted on 2/23/16 at 3:37 pm to Boomshockalocka
Apparently, you do, since you're using them incorrectly

It's amazing to me that thread about Marc Gasol turned into a debate about the Spurs, Warriors, and Rockets

"Contradictory", according to Merriam-Webster:
Jesus Christ, you are fricking stupid
quote:
a proposition so related to another that if either of the two is true the other is false and if either is false the other must be true
Jesus Christ, you are fricking stupid

Gasol and Memphis just aren't all that exciting.
Posted on 2/23/16 at 3:46 pm to TbirdSpur2010
wait wait I copied a link just like you did. Newsflash brother a word can have more than one defintion.
Posted on 2/23/16 at 3:49 pm to Boomshockalocka
What link did you use that you deem more of an authority than Merriam-Webster?
ETA: You used "thesaurus.com"?! Good Lord, Boom

whatever the first link was on a google search if that's not good enough maybe you're just being too picky

You want to assure people that you don't need to be told the meanings of words, then try to hold a google search over THE authority in word definition.
That takes balls

2015 SAS are on pace for 69-13, 2nd best in the league
2015 SAS have a MOV of +12.4, best in the league
2015 SAS has an ORTG of 111.4, 3rd best in the league
2015 SAS has an DRTG of 98.2, best in the league
Best winning % currently in SAS history
Best MOV in SAS history
Best ORTG since 2010, before that 1994.
Best DRTG since 2003, before that 2000.
.839 is currently on a better pace than any finals winner from the past decade, INCLUDING last year's 67-15 GSW
The only finals winners with better ORTG/DRTG are:
'14 GSW's 101.4 DRTG
'09 LAL's 112.8 ORTG
Do I think they're better than last year's GSW? Probably not. But they're pretty damn good using the same analytics that create an equal playing field.
