As long as Rummel practices onside kick recovery this week, they'll win. Barbe might have the second best offense ever in 5A-JD Booty/Hester Evangel was the best-and the worst defense to ever play in the Dome. West Monroe averaged 13.7 yards per play tonight. Rummel should put up 40-50 points on them.

Doubt they'll even try to. You beat a team like Barbe by milking the clock and keeping their O off the field. Rummel is the type of team that can do this. Rummel also plays great defense, something necessary to stop, or at least slow down Barbe's incredible offense.

It'll be an interesting matchup. I think if Rummel doesn't turn the ball over, they can dictate this game.

Rummel OL is a terrible matchup for barbe. I think they grind on them and keep barbe's offense off the field

You can't grind the clock on them. Their defense is so shitty you can't help but score. West Monroe's QB ran for over 300 yards and 5 touchdowns tonight. West Monroe as a team rushed for over 500 yards.

Not really. Fontenot scrambles a bit. They throw a ton.

Rummel's pass D was suspect at times tonight

I think that was mostly due to Mandeville's QB's ability to escape pressure and extend plays. For the most part, they had great coverage.

They really do have a great offense. That's what makes what happened so frustrating. WM held them to 150ish yards and 14 points the first half. Then played prevent the entire second half and let them pick them apart.

Must have been unbelievably frustrating to watch as a Rebel fan. I for one hate when teams get conservative after a lead.

ND parkview should be another great game. Parkview looks likes its smallest team in the last 12 years. ND matches up better with white boys. ND will pound the rock. In 09' ND held parkview to 2 yards of offense in the second half and it might take a similar effort this go round to win. ND's defense this year is salty. I can't wait
