some of them 7th and 8th

I wouldn't doubt that. They probably played in the third or fourth quarter of many of their games. Our 9th graders finished more than half our games this year.

Pretty good New Orleans-area coach told me today that Karr would beat Curtis.

He used basically the same argument you make for Evangel. Curtis may have more total college players, but Karr has more big-time college players and the rest of them aren't slouches either. He said it's not like it's Noil, Dobard, Willis and Ellis, then a bunch of bums. Said they are as big and physical up front as anybody in the state and he said Noil is like Mike Vick on the HS level.

He said it's the most talent he's seen on a high school football team.

Yep, they had them live for like one or two years, and attendance went to shite, so they put them back on tape delay.

I will be heading down there Friday afternoon. I get free passes (have a family member who works for the LHSAA). It really is a fun trip (especially considering 90% of stuff is paid for: hotel, food at the dome, tickets).

They sold out after the first day and had to get more tickets to sell. The dome will be a sea of red Saturday night.

I hope so. You're playing in your hometown in the finals. There should be a 1 in front of that number honestly.

Considering red is the predominant color for 5 of the 6 schools playing on saturday.... and BOTH of the teams playing before the 5A game... yes.. it will be a sea of red...

5k.. aint that much... WM usually sells 3 times that.....

well the weather should be good which will help turnout...

also the opponent won't be WM and they'll be favored, so Rummel fans will be more excited

WM typically brings more than 15K. We have 7k season ticket holders. EVERYONE goes to the Dome though.
