re: Building/Renovating and then selling every 2 years - theoldwiseone33
I will have moved 3 times in the last 12 months by the end of the year. I'm a realtor/investor so I save on moving costs. I mainly buy, fix up, move out and rent so I can acquire rentals inexpensively. It's a great way to acquire rentals and build equity without using a lot of money. ...

re: Potential first time home buyer in search of any and all advice - theoldwiseone33
Using the listing agent to represent you as a first time home buyer is reckless. The only way that works is if the buyer is very experienced and can look out for himself. First time buyers don't know what they don't know. OP, email me at gumboboudin at yahoo.com. I've helped many posters here on...

re: Real estate question - theoldwiseone33
What's the price of the home? I'm an agent in Lafayette and most likely a seller won't take a contingency contract on a home under $300k getting a lot of showings. If it's sitting then they will definitely take a contingency. The timelines can get very complicated on when to start spending money...
