I got that part. I'm looking at some of the schools that would be on cusp of moving up if you did an enrollment multiplier.
Using a 1.5 multiplier. Ouachita Christian, Christian Life, Sacred Heart and St. Martins are up to AA in that scenario.
IF you take some of the smaller private schools such as Ecole Classique, Houma Christian, Ascension Christian, Ascension Catholic, St. John, Central Catholic, False River and Hanson (to name a few).
Considering school enrollments fluctuate year to year it is possible that those schools would end up with a 220-240 enrollment using a 1.5 multiplier.
That would put those schools very close to playing AA ball.
Granted, some of those schools could compete in AA ball, but a few of those wouldn't be able to be competitive in AA as they are barely able to be competitive against average class A competition.
Got the numbers from the last enrollment release. I also know a few private schools who have grown in recent years and have taken that into account as well.

From the folks I have spoken with....that 1.5 multiplier is not how it will work that doesn't have a lot of steam....

Also, a lot of you do not have a clue about what you are talking about. You have to realize that a number of the coaches are blinded about issues because of their desire to win. The principals make the final decision on the vote. A multiplier for success will never pass in this state. That potentially will be a huge financial burden on the school because teams at the same school could play in different classes.

Henderson was terrible. I think what happens in January will determine if the privates stay together or not.

I do not mean any disrespect, but they did not. The things mentioned in this thread did not have anything to do with the announcement that was made today. I hope that the events that have unfolded today will come out so the truth can be known.

That is for people to decide on their own. I never said he did. I'm just saying that the issues mentioned in this thread had nothing to do with today's announcement.

I'm not %100 certain but from what I have heard it was a bunch of things.
1. The mismanagement of the Top 28 tournament/Shreveport Fiasco.
2. Botched contract with something else to do with the Top 28 tournament.
3. Eligibility issues regarding schools (Livonia, Episcopal)
and a few others that I don't know, but a few financial things.
I do believe that the poor leadership he has shown throughout this whole split fiasco was just the cherry on the top and probably helped push him out the door.
He was a very poor leader for the LHSAA and was very passive at a time the LHSAA needed a strong leader.
Again, I'm not 100% sure and just repeating what I have heard, so take it with a grain of salt.

That's it. He decided to never take a stand on anything between public and private schools. He lost politically because both sides ended up hating him.
