I knew Peabody was good, but two games in one night? In different places? At the same time? Wow lol

They do recruit well enough to have an A and a B team.

Again...we can't recruit, if we had transfers our kids would be sitting according to parish rules. All our kids have been there since they were freshman. You go across the street to the middle school and the same names are on the banners.
BTW, our feeder school won a middle school tourney last month in Lake Charles featuring feeder schools to LCA, Washington Marion, Southern Lab and Ozen of Beaumont,Tx.
But, its nice to be back in people's consideration, the last 3 years were rough, but this group man. Cedric is great and only getting better. Had 42 on 10 3 pointers Friday night and we have another Junior, Kevin Norman, almost no colleges are looking at him, and he has close to 30 double doubles this year. We're gonna be even better next year.

Will be at St. Paul's versus East Ascension tonight. Looks like a good game on paper.

This game is on Wednesday because of ACT testing.

(1) Natchitoches Central at (17) Chalmette, 8 p.m.
A rowdy atmosphere -- do the Owls enough to play with all of that talent from NCHS? With only 1 loss in February, chance are as good as they can be. Still, only one win against a winning team and that was a week ago. That January 26th blowout loss to Landry-Walker just before then might tell us all we need to know about Chalmette vs. an ELITE team. Still, gotta root for the Owls here.
(11) Fair Park at (6) Breaux Bridge, 7:15 p.m.
I would love to see this one. Perhaps the greatest collection of athletes on one floor. A very Jekyll and Hyde Fair Park cannot play poorly tonight and win on the Tigers' court.
(4) Wossman at (20) Glen Oaks, 7 p.m.
Glen Oaks hosting Wossman. The game should be good...I hope the security is even better. The Wildcats are better and Oaks has lots 4 of their last 6 home games. Still, they played U High to 12 even though the game was not THAT close.
(10) Christian Life at (7) Dunham, 7 p.m.
Nothing like a good, private school match-up between schools right down the road from one another. Dunham's freshman Jordan Wright has yet to be shut down. CLA needs a big game from its 4 seniors.
(14) Crescent City at (3) Southern Lab, 6:30 p.m.
I call an upset for a very bloated class 1A for 2016. If Lab wins, all they have to look forward to is beating other teams and then getting embarrassed by Laffy Christian on TV in the finals.
(16) Episcopal-Acadiana at (1) Simsboro
A rocking Civil War battle on Tiger Drive. This one's to prove Simsboro is what they say they are.
14) Family Christian at (3) Summerfield
Don't blink, Fighting Jimmy Swaggarts, or you'll miss the turn-off to Summerfield. This should be a high-scoring classic in little Rebel Gym.

I think if we win, at home, with the best player on the floor, having played a tougher schedule than Natch Central, it won't be THAT big of an upset...
Posted on 3/1/16 at 5:18 pm to chalmetteowl
Chalmette did not play a more difficult schedule than Natchitoches Central and while Robinson will probably be the player on the floor, Brandon Rachal is absolutely no slouch, if they had Lard this year, they might have actually been able to beat Scotlandville.

Yeah...it will. I'm pulling for you, but NC is legit.
