re: WBB will need to hit the portal now.

I think the larger problem is folks want a big name but I think Mulkey and crew learned their lesson last year with that. It needs to be fit, not name. I knew of HVL's talent last year but I was big on Jayda Walker and was really hoping LSU went after her cause she was the right fit, a true pg who c...
mk and flau'jae own those spots.
Johnson and Williams are your 2 and 3, not 1 and 2. Nye would be a great fit from a scoring/outside shooting perspective but, not the greatest ball handler, not the greatest on ball defender, but she does hustle. My bigger issue is, will Kim...
Do you think Flau’jae wouldn’t be able to play pg?
I was calling for this and HVL to slide to 2 after the first Auburn game. It would have opened everything up. Her ability to drive and kick it to HVL or Williams when the defense gets sucked in. I thought it was a no brainer, have ...
The traditional wisdom is that when a good shooter starts clanging it off the front of the rim it's a fatigue issue. The longer season along with a seemingly signicant weight gain wore her down. But she's going to be a superstar. She has an actual off-the-dribble jumpshot that has never been ...
By "cleaning up some things", you mean like developing an offensive game...she has none at this point. She is too slow to be a really good player. Is "cleaning up some things" becoming quicker also?
No, when she slowed down and actually worked back to the basket, it was there but t...
First, Hailey must realize she is never going to be a PG. She doesn't dribble well enough, have never seen her drive to the basket, etc. So the answer is she made a mistake thinking she could translate her game to being a PG. As far as going WNBA goes, I do agree with you. She isn't going to ...
Way too much IMO is made about "starting". What counts is playing time. And LSU starters should not be playing about 35 minutes out of 40. That has been the entire depth issue. For example, get say an Amoore or someone else as "starting" PG. Van Lith could be a "breather" PG, play scoring gua...
But then again, Del Rosario was ranked in the top 10 nationally, and she didn't remotely resemble her high rating this season. She fouls almost matched her points. Van Lith has to go, its just a numbers game. She won't be looking to come off the bench next year, in a final season, aiming to learn more at PG and push her draft stock back up. If we got an actual starter at PG, then there is no starting sport for her because you don't put Flau'jae or Mikaylah on ...

Officiating hasn't been consistent across the board for years in most sports. It is what it is at this point. Won't get any better without any accountability and we know they won't ever be held accountable, individually, as a crew or as an association....

Yea, bad decision by Mulkey, but you can't blame Angel for it. Ever since she came back, she's in shape and playing on the level she's known for, she's just limited in talent. That shot just may never be right, though it has been better this year. Mulkey should have decided the moment Poole left,...
Folks are reading way too much into this like Poole didn't play at all. The first guard off the bench all year. It wasn't just Angel. I guarantee if you it was a benching because of attitude, selfishness or anything of the like, Angel wouldn't be still cheering and hugging her teammates like she was...
Its funny to me that everyone went negative on this. I thought it was the exact opposite. Yes, the three she took was bad but she sat and Mulkey put her back in. The long two she made, was the open shot. She's gotta make that at times this year to help open up the floor. I thought Mulkey wanted t...
Reese had 6 makes and 9 missed with most of those missed shots were from throwing up wild shite while being double and tripled teamed.
Not really. When she got doubled and tripled, she typically didn't get the ball up, it was stripped. Most of her shots, she got good looks at, she u...
I find it hilarious that anyone is coming after Angel, as far as I saw, I saw her do what she does. She took the mid range, it wasn't pretty and she shied away from it, but she was on the boards, she got her put backs, she contributed and was the ONLY reason it was close at half. I was disappoint...
